1. Keep contacts with chambers of commerce, economic and trade organizations and international organizations in other countries and regions across the world as well as their representative offices in Guizhou;
Invite and host overseas representative personages and delegations in economic and trade circles, organize delegations from Guizhou in economic and trade circles, technical groups, entrepreneurs to visit abroad;
Organize, attend and hold (or jointly organize with overseas relevant institutions) international conferences related to international economy and trade, technical cooperation and laws;
Dispatch representative(s) establish representative offices to relative countries or regions.

2. Take part in international trade expos on behalf of Guizhou province;
Hold international trade fairs overseas;
Be responsible for overseas economic exhibitions, in accordance with the authorization given by the provincial government.

3. Host international economic and trade or technical exhibitions in Guizhou;
Participate in special or comprehensive international exhibitions organized by CCPIT;
Organize and sponsor international exhibitions in Guizhou;
Be responsible for coordinating international economic and technical exhibitions held by foreign countries in Guizhou.

4. Issue the certificates of origin of the People ‘s Republic of China, processing, and re-export;
Issue and authenticate papers and documents concerning operations of foreign trade;
Handle support papers for international commercial affairs, act for the force majeure certificate and legalization by embassy or consulate.

5. Act for international economic and trade arbitration as well as maritime arbitration;
Provide legal consult, legal information consult, legal training and non-contentious legal services;
Conduct credit investigations for enterprises at home and abroad;
Coordinate disputes concerning international commercial affairs.

6. Act for foreign enterprises or individuals to register patents and trademarks in Guizhou or for Guizhou enterprises and individuals to apply for foreign patents and trademarks;
Handle consultations and disputes concerning industrial property right and intellectual property right.

7. Make investigation and study for the domestic and overseas economic development;
Collect, sort out, relay and release economic and trade information;
Provide services of information and consultation concerning economic and technical cooperation as well as trade for foreign enterprises and institutions concerned;
Contact Guizhou and foreign economic and trade circles to arrange activities of technological exchange;
Compile and publish pamphlets and catalogs concerning economics and trade.

8. Instruct and coordinate the work of CCPIT Guizhou sub-council system;
Be responsible for service and training for CCPIT Guizhou sub-council system.

9. Be in charge of and assort with chamber of commerce according to CCPIT authorization.

10. Deal with the work given by the provincial government and CCPIT.
